Homecoming Sunday 2020 – aka “Home-Staying” Sunday!

The first Sunday after Labor Day is often a special one at CCSM, particularly for families! In a non-pandemic year, we’d have lunch and games on the church lawn, kids would meet their program leaders for the year, we’d form new communities and re-connect with friends after the summer. This year is a bit different (what else is new!) but we still have three special and fun Zoom events for kids and youth on Sunday! Music and games for kids and a special youth party! See below for more information. Hope to see you there!

Sunday at 9:45am – Kids/Family Music Time with Julie Berk! Music educator and church musician Julie will teach us some great spiritual songs that we can sing at home. We’ll use instruments that are simple and use everyday materials like spoons, boxes, pencils, etc. All ages are welcome!  https://zoom.us/j/333636518?pwd=UlJiVmFkeVFTaFJiSklRdXduUHBkdz09

Sunday at 11:30am – Youth “Homecoming” Party: Join your youth leaders for a fun kick-off to the year! Brainstorming ideas and plans, playing games, and a special surprise treat if you let me know by SEPTEMBER 8 that you are coming so I can mail it to you!! Grades 6+  https://zoom.us/j/96212574856?pwd=K1R5bjA0VU85Z1krQk51Tno0bzNYQT09

Sunday 4-4:30pm – Kids’ “Home-Staying” Game Party with Shannon, Libby, and Sheryl (and youth helpers!)! While it isn’t bubbles or face-painting like most years on the church lawn, there are still lots of fun games we can play together online! Shannon will lead some simpler games for younger kids and Libby will connect with those who are a little older – but of course we’re flexible and feel free to go with whatever you feel like! Oh and there will be PRIZES!!!  https://zoom.us/j/95108003640?pwd=d2M2b3NuMGR3Y1o5Mms1WWtOajY1UT09
