Family Earth Day Challenge! Here are 22 “days” of activities to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day (April 22, 2020!). Let me know what you get up to and challenge other families to participate!
Friday 6pm – All Ages Movie Night: Make/order pizza and get some snacks – and enjoy a movie together – either Christopher Robin or Leap! (Please share your “vote” by Thursday via e-mail to Sheryl). We’ll watch it together via Metastream so that we can send messages during the movie (Let Sheryl know via e-mail if you have any trouble – sjohnson@ccsm-ucc.org).
Sunday at 9:45am – Godly Play – All kids are invited to participate in a Godly Play session with Shannon! Hear a Bible Story, reflect on questions, respond creatively and connect with other kids/families! Parents are invited to join in too if they’d like. https://zoom.us/j/
Sunday 11:30am – Youth Discussion on the theme of Sabbath. What is this time teaching us about the ancient concept of “Sabbath”? What might going slow and living simply have to show us about God and about ourselves? Join Dave, Bill, Laura, and Sheryl for conversation and check-ins. Youth in grades 6+ are welcome and if we have enough participants, we’ll split into mid and high school groups! https://meet.google.
Sunday at 1pm – Liturgical Arts – Kids in 3rd grade or older are invited to join Libby for a time of connecting, learning, sharing, and creating! Please have paper and coloring/writing materials nearby if possible. https://meet.google.
