On March 5, we’ll discuss The Boys In the Boat by Daniel James Brown. This is a true story about the 1936 Olympic competition—a startling moment in history.  PBS has aired a documentary on the subject. This book describes one small piece of that event. It is just the time to read a book about “our team” enjoying an unpredictable success.

On April 2, our book is all about food. Join us to discuss My American Dream: A Life of Love, Family, and Food by Lidia Bastianich, a beloved TV cook/chef.
