Interim Choir Director (Part-Time)
We are seeking an Interim Choir Director to lead our 12–18 member volunteer choir in rehearsals, Sunday worship, and occasional special services during this season of transition. At CCSM, music is central to our life together—not just performance, but a way we pray, celebrate, and deepen our connection with God and one another.

Organist/Pianist (Part-Time)
The Congregational Church of San Mateo (UCC) seeks a skilled and collaborative Organist/Pianist to support our worship and music ministries. This part-time role includes accompanying Sunday worship, choir rehearsals, and special services throughout the year. CCSM is a progressive, inclusive community where music plays a central role in worship and spiritual life.
Compensation: $250 per service, $150 per rehearsal.

Children, Youth, and Families (CYF) Director
Part-Time (18 hrs/week) | $38/hr | Paid Vacation & Sick Leave
We’re seeking a thoughtful and energetic leader to guide and shape our ministry with children, youth, and families in a diverse, intergenerational, and multicultural congregation. The CYF Director will develop and lead engaging, age-appropriate programs on Sundays and Wednesdays, support youth group and family events, and foster deep connections across generations.
This role involves working closely with the Senior Minister, CYF staff, and lay leaders to cultivate a spiritually nourishing, justice-rooted ministry that reflects our progressive values and honors the lived experiences of all families. We’re looking for someone who communicates well across ages and cultures, can manage a small team and group of volunteers, and feels called to nurture faith and belonging in an evolving church community.
