Care Opportunities

Our Care volunteers offer practical and compassionate care support to our congregants. These volunteer opportunities complement the pastoral care provided by our ministerial staff.

Companion Ministry – *NEW* Provide companionship to our congregants in need. You will be assigned to regularly visit a congregant requesting assistance. This is an ongoing ministry with a one-year commitment. No prior experience is necessary and training will be required.

Home Communion Team – Join our teams that deliver home communion, at least one quarterly at mutually agreed upon times, to those of our members who are unable to attend worship. You will receive training and a CCSM communion kit. If you would like to partake in this heartwarming experience of sharing home communion, please request information.

Ride Share – This is an easy way to support our beloved community. Give a ride to and from church to people who cannot drive to Sunday service or other church events themselves.

Our behind-the-scenes support keeps CCSM running! Here are ways you can help.
