Prayer and Care
We offer several ways for you to receive support and encouragement when you are coping with difficult life circumstances.
Please let us know how we might be of help:
Prayer Requests and Joys and Concerns
Our staff prays every Monday for your joys and concerns. Share a joy or concern privately with the staff or publicly in the Sunday bulletin or our bi-monthly newsletter, The Pine Tree. There are several ways you can submit a prayer or let us know how we can support you.
- Fill out the Prayer Request form on this page.
- Call our office at (650) 343-3694 and ask to leave a message for the Minister of Congregational Care and Counseling.
- Call the Minister of Congregational Care and Counseling directly at (415) 244-3696.
- Fill out the blue card located in our pew benches during Worship.
Hospital Visits and Home Visits
If you or a loved one is in the hospital or is confined to home, let us know. We will coordinate visits by ministers, staff and church friends as appropriate.
As needs arise at CCSM, we offer support gatherings — for grief, divorce, and other life circumstances. Please check our calendar for upcoming groups and contact us if you have a need.
Pastoral Care, Counseling and Spiritual Reflection
Please call The Minister of Congregational Care and Counseling if you would like help in discerning which minister might best serve your situation.
Rev. Dakota Brown, Acting Minister of Congregational Care and Counseling, is also available for ongoing counseling needs and can be reached by calling 415-244-3696.
